May 8-9 2009 Afghanistan Conference

On May 8-9, 2009, the Centre for Public Theology hosts its inaugural conference, entitled “War, Human Dignity, and Nation Building: Theological Perspectives on Canada’s Role in Afghanistan.” You are warmly invited to attend.

The Conference begins with Registration from 6 P.M. on May 8 (first paper at 7 P.M.) and will finish in time for the evening meal on May 9. More details will be available soon.

"War, Human Dignity and Nation Building" seeks to bring together theologians and other academics with policymakers, representatives of NGOs, religious leaders, the media and members of the public to discuss religious and ethical issues arising from Canada's role in the Afghanistan conflict.
